Little Cougar Dude
(name change coming soon!)
2007 Bay Gelding
"Doodle"

This little guy, we just can't let go, at least not til he's been sent through training and becomes an outstanding addition to the riding/showhorse world.  We feel there is a lack of good quality BROKE riding horses and we're confident this boy will fit the bill (if he doesn't become an outstanding showhorse that will prove himself to be a keeper!)  Not only does he possess the conformation to be a top contending performance horse, he has the disposition and temperment that anyone would want in their barn.  Let's add in the PRETTY factor (and did we mention the GORGEOUS head?) and he's the total package.  Look for updates on Doodle (Dude) as he matures.
Lou
1990 Cremello mare
"grade QH cross"
14.2 hds *  900lbs
This good 'ole mare has completely earned her retirement position at the farm (with a few occasional bareback rides around the farm and a town Christmas parade here and there).  There's lots of stories behind my years with this mare.   Lou has been with me since before Halie could even walk.  She's hauled me for hundreds of miles on the Gulf Coast (even participating in a few Mardi Gras parades) chased the cans along the Gulf, raced in many "my horse is faster than yours " races and even competed in endurance events and we've traveled the trails of Virginia (still alot more to go!).  She's the horse I rode through the McDonalds drive thru and would bathe at the local carwash and take trips to the store and come home with bags hanging off the saddle. Since then though, we've both gotten older and  plagued by more ailments and family has taken presidence over riding, but she's just as young at heart as the first day I traded a weanling  grade filly and an old boyfriend's roping saddle for this cream colored, blue eyed filly tucked away at the local horsetrader's farm.  Lou is now the official greeter, babysitter and teacher at the farm and even though the younger generation (Halie and Rane) can now outrun us down a 1/2 mile stretch, Lou and I still give them a run for their money!!
