A Little Bit of Background RE Hyojun Akitas:
We've been showing and breeding Akitas since 1978. All breeding stock is O.F.A.'d, and eyes checked for eye disease. We specialize in producing the larger-boned American-style Akitas, with a wide variety of colors: reds, white, brindles, and pintos in any combination you can imagine.
Our licensed kennel is located on the cool central coast of California, between Monterey Bay and Watsonville, approximately 1 hour south of San Jose and 2 hours south of San Francisco. We are within 2 - 2 1 / 2 hours of 3 major airports, and have shipped all over the continental US, as well as Alaska.
We are a relatively small private breeding kennel, producing approximately 1 or 2 litters a year. Video tapes, and pedigrees are available on request. Inquiries are also welcome reguarding our planned upcoming breedings. Following are some of our accomplishments:

We currently are members of the Golden Gate Akita Club, The Akita Club of America, and the San Andreas Kennel Club. Robyn has served on the boards of these different clubs, in such capacities as President, Vice-president, Secretary, Treasurer, Member at Large, and is currently the Treasurer for the San Andreas Kennel Club.
We have been very active in the breed in terms of education, including organizing the information booth at the San Francisco Cherry Blossom festival each April, where Golden Gate Akita Club has had an exhibit/information booth for the past 25 years. We have our Akitas on display, participate in the Grand Parade, and talk to thousands of people over the weekend. We also organize our benching section at the winter Golden Gate Kennel Club show at the San Francisco Cow Place, where we hand out information and talk to thousands of people there too, have fun decorating our benching section, and visiting with fellow club members.
We look forward to talking to you, and want to thank you again for showing your interest in our Akitas!
