This multi-published, award winning writer's short stories, articles, captioned news photos, and poetry have appeared in more than 400 print and electronic publications throughout the United States and Canada.
Although best known for her award-winning nonfiction articles and poetry, her short story, "The Darkness and the Dreams," was voted fifth for best romance short story in 2006 in the Preditors and Editors Readers Poll.
She is the author of one published children's book, one novel, two novellas; is a contributing author in three print anthologies, Blue Moon Magic Romance Anthology, Christmas Wishes Anthology, and Writings: A Literature of our Time; Contracted titles include"Special of the Day," in Second Time Around Anthology.
In 2002 she was the Editor of IN PRINT!, the professional trade publication of Houston Bay Area Chapter 30 of Romance Writers of America. Under her direction, the newsletter's July 2001 issue placed 5th in the 2002 National Competition, sponsored by RWA, the largest genre writer's organization in the world.
She is also past President of a Houston area RWA chapter and served four consecutive years on the chapter's board. Currently, she holds membership in several writer's organizations.
