The Mayberry Family
Frederick Mayberry, Sr. Descendants
Welcome
Hi, and welcome to my homepage created to help connect Mayberry cousins.  My name is Karen Stone and I am offering this site as a resource to all descendants of Frederick Mayberry, Sr. of New Jersey and Bedford Co., Virginia.  All of the material here has been, and continues to be, generously donated by our cousins.

This site consists of several links.  The main part is the document version of descendants of Frederick Mayberry, Sr.  There are also links to pages listing the Mayberry researchers who are online, a query page for those who have not found their connection to Frederick yet, and pages of documentation such as census, marriage and cemetery records, etc.  This is everything I have and I try to keep all new data that comes in posted to the site as quickly as my time allows.

All the best to you in your researching.  I look forward to hearing from you.

John Walker Mayberry
I would like to introduce you to the people very instrumental for my passion for genealogy.  They are John Walker Mayberry and Mahulda Ann (Allen?) Easley.  John is the great grandson of Frederick Mayberry, Sr. through his son Henry Maybery, Sr. and Henry's son Henry Mayberry, Jr.  John, who mostly went by the name Walker, was born in 1813 in Hickman Co., TN.  Mahulda is the daughter of John Easley and Sally Shores.  She was born in 1819 in MS and married John about 1837 in Hickman Co., TN.  John and Mahulda ultimately moved their family to Gatesville, Coryell Co., TX. They raised 10 children, 7 daughters and 3 sons in that order.  John was a farmer and served a term as Justice of the Peace.  He died in September 1876 and was buried in the City Cemetery in Gatesville.  I am descended from their youngest son, Thomas Alfred Mayberry, and Tom's youngest daughter, Willie Alvera Mayberry.

Documentation
Just as important as the family information within this document is the documentation to back it up.  I will put all of it in here for all to use.  When you have something that is pertinent to the documentation pages please share it with us.
