Trail: The trail has no significant hills and circles beautiful 365 acre Lake Galena. Most of the trail is on blacktop. One 2K segment was unpaved, but may be paved by the time of the walk.

Start Time: This guided walk will leave the start point at 10:00 a.m. A second guided group will leave at 3:00 p.m.

Trail Length: 10 K ( 6.2 miles)
Fee: Credit Only = $ 3.00
Free walkers are welcome. All walkers must fill out, carry and return a start card and sign Liability waiver form.
Food: This event will be our club's annual picnic. Please bring a salad, fruit or casserole to share.
Parking & Rest Room: Free parking and rest rooms are available at the start point. Water and hard candy is available at the start point.
Conditions: Bad weather will not cancel this event. No littering., pets must be leashed. .
Directions: From East or West: Take Penna turnpike to Exit 343 (Willow Grove) and take Rt 611 North. XX Go 10.4 miles and get on Rt 202 South. Go 1.7 miles and 100 feet past "Detweiler School" sign and turn right onto Keely Road (this becomes Old Iron Hill Road). Go for 1.3 miles until road tees into Creek Road. Turn right onto Creek Rd. Parking is just ahead on the left. Look for IVV flag.
From Central Philadelphia: Take Broad Street (which is Rt 611 North). Starting where 611 passes under the Penna. Turnpike, follow directions from XX above.
From Northwestern Phila. Suburbs: Take Rt. 309 or Rt. 202 north. From the point where they cross in Montgomeryville (just past the Montgomeryville Mall) take Rt 202 north for 3.1 miles and turn left on Rt. 152 (Limekiln Pike). Go 2 blocks and turn right onto Park Ave. Go 1.7 miles and turn right onto Creek Road. Parking is 1/2 mile ahead on the left. Look for the IVV flag.
