Fee: Credit Only = $ 3.00
Free walkers are welcome. All walkers must fill out, carry and return a start card and sign a liability waiver form.
Parking & Rest Room: Free parking in the park's lot on south side of Moredon Road. Rest rooms are available in the park near the start point. Water and hard candy is available at the start point.
Conditions: Bad weather will not cancel this event. No littering.
Pets: Pets are not permitted.
Strollers: Much of the trail is not paved. The use of strollers and wheelchairs is not recommended.
The Trail: The trail follows a non-paved footpath wholly within Lorimer and Pennypack Parks. Before starting we will pause at our "Tree of Remembrance" to honor those wanderers who have passed on.
The trail traverses some open fields as well as heavily wooded sections. Over 70 species of trees have been identified in Lorimer Park, along with numerous wildflowers. Walkers may also see deer, chipmunks, hawks and an occasional red fox. Parts of the trail run along Pennypack Creek and Harpers Run. There are several moderate hills.

Directions: From the West: Take the Penna. Turnpike East to exit 343 (Willow Grove) and get on Rt 611 south. Go 3.6 miles and turn onto Susquehanna Rd east. Go 1.5 miles and turn left onto Meeting House Rd. north. Go 0.6 miles and turn left onto Huntingdon Pike. Go 0.1 mile and turn right onto Moredon Rd. Go 0.8 miles and turn right into the Lorimer Park parking lot.
From the North or South: Using I-95 to Exit 30 onto Rt. 73 west. Go 1.6 miles and cross U.S.Rt. 1. Continue on Rt 73 for 1.9 miles and turn right onto Oxford Ave. Go 0.2 mile and turn half right onto Veree Rd. Go 2.2 miles and turn left onto Bloomfield Ave. (which becomes Moredon Rd.). Go 0.8 mile and turn left into Lorimer Park parking lot.
