"Working with Sterling has been a very rewarding experience.  He is quiet and willing.  I look forward to his future training and accompishments"  Kim Kochis, owner

So far, Wynnbrook has three foals that are old enough to start under saddle, and all three have been super easy to train!  I'm sure there will be exceptions at some time, but this is a trend that I hope will continue.

I personally started Wildwynn Solitaire, and he was the easiest pony to get going well. With only one month under saddle, he safely carried my small son on a large organized trail ride over Memorial Weekend!  Camping for three days, along with 700 horses.  Mud everywhere and he did not flinch!  Walk, trot, canter, and now he is doing flying lead changes with only 6 weeks of sporatic riding!

Wildwynn Amethyst was started proffessionally by Karyn Becerra of Bunn, NC last summer.  With only one month under saddle, she was demostrated at the American Hunter Pony Classic Sale over a hunter course with flowers!  Super easy to start, and super easy to train.

Sterling was a first time project for his new owners.  With a little advice, Kim was able to teach Sterling to drive, and to ride without a problem.  He was started in Feb '00 and is now going on trail rides away from home!  He has driven the trails and roads around her home, without fear.  Kim now feels confident that she can load him up, and ride anywhere with Sterling.
