A Taste of Aussie Culture |

Days 1-3 Well our trip has begun! We left Ohio for L.A. at about 2:00 in the afternoon. You could tell everyone was thrilled to be leaving after all the anticipation. Before long we waved goodbye to our parents and headed "down under". We arrived late in L.A., only to find out that our flight had been canceled and we were being booked on another one. While we had a long stay at the airport, we did eventually get going. We found out there was an upside, we got to see Melbourne, even if it was only the airport. After an exhausting 16 hour flight we finally made it to Melbourne and eventually Cairns, where we would begin our trip. Once at the hotel we met the group we would be traveling with and got cleaned up. We were all thrilled to be off the plane and finally in Australia! |
