Lost in my dream of your memories embraced
As I sleep in the night I dream of your face
My voice is but a whisper lost in my sleep
The words of my heart I can no longer keep
I dream of your kiss, an illusion of my mind
As I hold the key to your heart, I must find
The beautiful ring, the diamonds of gold
The deep crimson rose in which your hand holds
The touch of your hand set against mine
The spark of your soul, which my heart can’t deny
From the spirit of destiny in which my life holds
I dream of us together, I will never let you go
A dream and a wish, a star in the night
The power of your love, my heart cannot fight
Aching of the body, spirit and soul
Fulfilling of my dreams, losing control
Shattered between love and destiny
Broken through the tears of your memory
The footprints you left will never diminish
But wishing for a past, has now been finished
As I turn the pages, day by day
Events leave me speechless with nothing to say
Reminiscing my past, I can never lose
The dream of my heart, the memories so true
Lost love is gone never to be regained
Only left to leave you with the pain
Reality sets in, breaking the dream
Setting my heart alone to be free
Feeling my heart fall back into place
As the past finally begins to erase.
