From the spirit of which you breathe
From the heart of your soul I need you to see
When you walk past me with your eyes set like stone
My confidence is gone and I’m left alone
As my heart disappears and diminishes beneath the earth
I wonder what our relationship was really worth
Could our words ever be so deeply sought out
Will these feelings and emotions leave me in doubt
The answer I find is the answer I seek
But the answer in your heart is what makes me weak
As you leave me alone to weep over my loss
My heart can recall the times lost to us
As I reach out my hand to pull in your heart
You fly away and tear me apart
As I reach for the crystals lost in our love
The wind flies away from the dove
As the waters rise, high with the tide
I can picture you next to me by my side
Then reality sets in, to leave me with the pain
As I remember my tears of love gone away
While he walks away beyond his fears
Her heart is destroyed, broken to tears
The blood of her heart falls from tears in her eyes
As he walks through the crowd feeling her cries
She falls to the floor hair drawn on her face
Knowing no other could ever replace
The death in her eyes, through which love could be seen
As he walks away further, losing his dream.
