How to Vote for Bill Lorge on September 12th for US Senate Wisconsin
2000 Republican ballot
Here is all you need to do to vote for
Bill Lorge in the
September 12, 2000 Republican Primary
Election for US Senator:
-
First, in Wisconsin you do not need to pre-register
to vote. So all you have to do is go to your local polling place
anytime between 9 AM and 8 PM on Tuesday, September 12, 2000 to vote. If
you do not know where your local polling place is, you can call any local
government agency and they will put you in touch with the right office, usually
the Clerk. Just tell the Clerk where you live and they will tell you
where your local polling place is. Some polling places may open as
early as 7 AM, but they must all be open by 9 AM, and all must close at 8PM
sharp.
-
Go there, they will ask you name and address when you go to the table to
get your ballot. You must ask for the GOP
ballot. If you vote in the Democrat or other Party Primary,
you cannot vote for Bill Lorge. You MUST ask for and get ONLY the
Republican Ballot, as in Wisconsin, you can only vote in ONE Party's ballots
during the Primary Election on September 12th.
-
When you get into the booth, find the area that says US Senator. There
will be three names of people running. Bill Lorge's
name is in the middle. Bill has said in his campaign, "The man in
the Middle is the best Choice". Here is a sample of the ballot and
how they prefer you mark your vote with an "X".
Please Vote like
this...:

-
Then, after you voted, fold the ballot once. Exit the booth and hand
your ballot to the person who takes them and make sure they
put your ballot in the REPUBLICAN ballot box to
be counted for Bill Lorge for US Senate.
-
After you leave and go home, call your friends and
ask them to vote for Bill Lorge on September 12th in the Republican
Primary. It is important that you tell them you just voted and it didn't
hurt, and tell them that in a Primary election the vote is light so their
vote is very important and will definitely make a difference. Offer
to give them a ride to the polls if they hesitate. You have until 8PM
to get the vote out for Bill. In 1992 Bill won his election by 23 votes
after a recount. Every vote counts, especially in an election where
it is so important to send a fighter for the average Person to the high office
of US Senator. Thank you.

For the final vote, go to this web page. Bill Lorge got 21% of the
vote without spending any money. The winner spent over a Million dollars.
The 21% is Bill Lorge's low base vote. If he ever ran again for
statewide office, he will get at least 21% of the vote. He was up against
the GOP, the incumbent Governor, his opponent accepted the controversial
yet lucrative GOP endorsement, yet Bill Lorge, on his own, just his name
on the ballot got 21% of the vote, that is over 41,026 votes for Lorge. If
a million dollars were ever spent on Bill Lorge's image, being the cursader,
maverick, clean campaigner, he would get 100% of the vote. See:

Bill needs your small donation to prove that he can win without selling out
to the big money. To see the big money that incumbent Governor Scott
McCallum, Bill's Republican opponent, is getting his big money from Special
Interests and people who bid on State Contracts give McCallum up to $10,000.00,
