Note: This Church was founded in 1809 and was the first African American Church in the County. The Church was rebuilt in 1817 and then added to in the 1900’s. The congregation still worships in the church. The cemetery, thanks in most part to Mr. Walt Jacobs, has been meticulously cared for. However, due to various factors such as time, pollution and natural erosion, some f the stones are illegible. Where there are blanks or question marks, the data is questionable or unknown. All stones are recorded, whether readable or not, except for the aforementioned stones.  Plots are indicated as such and marked in italics.
