THE COLLECTORS GUIDE TO ™AirrazorLocation: [Home] [Contents] [Toy Reviews] Airrazor
Review:This review is on the Airrazor with exclusive Beast Wars video that contains the episode "Aftermath" and "Coming of the Fuzors part 1". This version of Airrazor is rather flimsy and loose, especially at the feet. She tends to wobble and fall flat on her face when trying to stand in robot mode. Beast mode looks OK from above, however, her mechanical nature can be seen from below and on the sides. Overall look is not too bad, the metallic like paint in her wings and in the orange molding are a nice touch. Attack features include blades folding out from her wings, also a nice touch for play value. Weapon is concealed under her tail feathers and can either be placed in her hands or on her wrists. Airrazor has 11 points of articulation. Not too bad for a re-release. Profile: (taken from technical specification card)An areal reconnaissance expert, Airrazor's optical matrix scanners can detect Predicon ground movement from 30,000 feet. Internal radar transmitters then relay data to fellow Maximals, complete with 3-D virtual reality maps detailing enemy location. Cyber-blades hidden within wings open for attack mode. And although photon cannon concealed beneath tail is her weapon of choice in robot mode, she prefers attacking Predicons with her armor-slahing, titanium-plated talons! airrazor.htm -- Last Updated: May 18,1999 Web site maintained by Anthony Panaligan at MangaMan21@aol.comSnail mail address: 2522 Woodland Avenue South Plainfield NJ 07080 Home Phone #(908)755-3880 The Transformers™ and Beast Wars™ are a registered trademark of Hasbro Inc.
