WELCOME TO THE COLLECTORS GUIDE TO ™Introduction
The Transformers toy line made its first appearance back in 1984. If you grew up during the mid 80's, you have a good idea of what the toys are. For all the new comers, the Transformers were the first transforming robots in the United States. This gimmick started a trend that influenced other toy lines that followed. With a few twists and turns, a common looking sports car or jet changed into a robot warrior and back. The original toy line spanned two generations that lasted up until the early 1990's. The Transformers made a comeback in 1996 with the Beast Wars and is still going on to this day. Now the Transformers are once again "transforming" to a new direction. The Beast Machines toy line will carry on the Transformer name and tradition in the year 2000.
My name is Anthony G. Panaligan. I am 22 years old and currently attending Middlesex County College. I am majoring in Computer Science along with a few minor coarses in Art. I have been collecting Transformers for the past four years which started with a small visit to my local comic book shop where I purchased a Bumblebee. Since then I have been searching for more and more. Not only do I collect Transformers, but I also restore old and seemingly broken Transformers as well. I recently lost count of how many I own. My site is dedicated to inform and entertain about the Transformers toy line. The pages that make up this site are as followed:
