THE COLLECTORS GUIDE TO ™HoundLocation: [Home] [Contents] [Toy Reviews] Hound
Review:Hound seems to be to have too much a "cubist" kind of look in his robot mode. His arms are too small to hold such a large weapon. It is very difficult to point his gun straight ahead.
His Jeep vehicle mode is very nice with the fold down windshield, seats, and accessories such as a gas can, a spare tire, and a rear mounted gun. Transformation from vehicle to robot
mode and back is not too difficult. Keep in mind not to loose all his accessories from both vehicle and robot mode. They include the before mentioned plus a shoulder mounted missile launcher.
The cannon might look like it is spring loaded, but it doesn't really fire. Hound only has 2 points of articulation (oooooohhhh wow). Mildly recommended to diehard fans.
Profile: (taken from technical specification card)As the Autobot scout, it's hound's job to sniff out everything from energy production facilities to Decepticon hideouts. He can project 3-dimensional images with his trusty hologram gun. hound.htm -- Last Updated: April 30,1999 Web site maintained by Anthony Panaligan at MangaMan21@aol.comSnail mail address: 2522 Woodland Avenue South Plainfield NJ 07080 Home Phone #(908)755-3880 The Transformers™ and Beast Wars™ are a registered trademark of Hasbro Inc.
