Sideswipe has a really neat looking robot mode with his red, black, and white color scheme. His vehicle mode is very sturdy, solid, and rolls easily. Transformation from vehicle to robot mode and back is not too difficult, however, I would be very careful when it comes to the windshield. It is very loose and is probably the most easiest part to break off. His Accesories include a rifle and a shoulder mounted cannon. The cannon might look like it is spring loaded, but it doesn't really fire. Sideswipe has only 4 points of articulation only in the shoulders and the elbows but it doesn't detract from the overall play value. Highly recommended.

Sideswipe is nearly the equal of his twin brother, Sunstreaker, in the combat arts, but less cold-blooded. Relishes a fight to the finnish with an opponent. Uses underhanded tactics when absolutely necessary. Arms can act as powerful pile drivers. Flies for up to 2 minutes with rocket backpack. Fires flares visible for 18 miles. Rash actions often lead to injuries to himself. Takes them all in stride.
