Why should I purchase a battery from Route 66 when others are selling them on Ebay? The truth is batterys being sold on Ebay are generic low quality lithiums most will last 2 yaers, the original battery in your unit has a life of over 10 years, and all our batterys include a battery holder where applied for easy future battery replacement. MGF companys like Korg, Roland, Ensoniq and others do NOT stock or sell batterys so don't fall for this lame Ebay scam story, batterys are NOT rare!
Do you include instructions on replacing the battery? Yes we include a guide to help you de-solder and re-solder your new replacement battery and holder.
Whats a battery holder and do I need this? The battery holder is designed to be soldered inplace of your original solder tab battery, then your battery can be installed as easy as replacing batterys in a remote control..NO MORE SOLDERING!!!
do i need this? we say YES! Yamaha made this a great feature on many of their units and Midi road techs demand it, plus it saves on wear and tear on your mainboard.
