CYCLE BY-CYCLE CARRIERS
After experimenting with several methods of carrying a bicycle on a motorcycle (as you can see by the photos) I've developed a complete sports rack system for motorcycles that fit most m/c's with rear passenger footpegs and an existing grab bar and or luggage rack.
This "trac" system utilizes a specially formed steel channel which accepts "push & twist in" nuts at any point along its length. The "trac" spans between the passenger pegs and a 1/2" stainless threaded rod cantelevering off the luggage rack/grab bar.
The "trac" can be installed on one or both sides. And virtually any object can be bolted w/clamps to it. So far Bicycles, boards, rodeo kayaks, and golf clubs have been carried.
Generally the "trac" stays permanently mounted but does detatch in minutes.
Sizing info. requires the measurement of the width between the rear footpeg flanges for the alum. block which replaces the footpeg. Installation requires some cutting and drilling. Prices:
