The Senior Residence of River Edge (SRRE) is a congregate living facility for mature, independent, self-sufficient adults. The SRRE is not a nursing home nor an assisted living facility.

ACTIVITIES:
SCORE:
Senior Citizens of River Edge, a local organization, meets twice weekly off-site for luncheon, activities, entertainment and programs featuring a variety of timely topics.
"SENIOR TO SENIOR":
Students from River Dell Senior High School visit on a regular basis with our residents for social interaction. Through this program our residents have made lasting friendships with these students.
"SERIES ON AGING":
An ongoing forum of medical and social topics geared to the interest and needs of the mature adult.
VOLUNTEER GROUPS:
Students from the local elementary schools, and scout troops interact with our residents throughout the year presenting programs, hosting picnics and visting during the holiday season.
CULTURAL EVENTS:
The River Edge Library and the River Edge Cultural Center sponsor concerts, lectures, exhibits and workshops open to all residents.
