New Heart Nubians!
After having a blast with our Nubian Goats at the Elkhart County 4-H Fair and the following Michiana Open Goat Show, we are continuing forward with a small herd of quality Nubian Goats. Most are purebred ADGA registered Nubians, but we also have a line of ADGA registered American Nubians as well.

Our original purebred does came from Linda Marshall's Marshall Maple Lane Farm. We began with 2 does, Marshall's-Maple Lane's Jill and Marshall's-Maple Lane's Jane. Jil and Jane are sisters out of a group of quads. The were bred in 2004 for the first time after MUCH research! Jill was bred to Marshall's-Maple Lane's Leo Ho Ho, and Jane was bred to Longman's Simon Sez Think Pink. In April of 2005 Jane had triplets, 2 bucks and one doe. Jill had twins, a buck and a doe. These two does were taken to the Michiana Open Goat show in July, where Jane's daughter New Heart's Jewel was champion Junior Nubian and Jill's Daughter, New Heart's Bambi took reserve Champion Junior Nubian (both of them were only 4 months old.) We are so proud of our Daughter Amanda who showed Jewel, and also got a second place in intermediate showmanship in her first open show!
