In manuscript form, Mrs. Newton’s first novel Unusual Destiny garnered a Showcased Listing in 1999 after review and evaluation by a panel of published authors at Authorlink.com. Later entered in competition, the novel won a Year 2000 New Author Award at the Harriet Austin Writer’s Conference, University of Georgia.
