Our Story
Steve & Judi are city folks who 3 years ago quit the rat race in the Chicago Suburbs and bought a small farm in Indiana. Our kids, family, friends and co-workers all think we're nuts. But, we've never been happier and love the county life. Now we don't think we could ever go back.

Our Longhorns
We wanted some kind of unique animals around the place for ambiance. After ruling out buffalo (not friendly and too rough on fences) llamas (too yuppie) goats (they're climbers) sheep (coyote bait) and cows (cows???) we fell in love with the Texas Longhorn. Pictured above is our calf Carly born in the spring of 2003.

The Latest
We now have 3 longhorns, Carly, her mom Idaho and our newest addition Missy. We plan to breed them this summer for 2005 spring calves. Check back here often for the latest in how we're getting along. Drop us a line...we'd love to hear from you.
