Welcome to the Center
Ohio Center for Social Justice is a liberal, progressive organization working for social change and social justice thru Advocacy, Education, and Direct Action. OCSJ is a voice in Ohio, speaking out against hate and discrimination, as well as addressing a broad range of social justice issues like racism, homophobia, and many others.
The Center is a "one stop shop" for social justice resources, information, workshops, video presentations, and much more. Social Justice workshops and video presentations are available for community groups, schools, churches, college groups, businesses, agencies, and our fees are very reasonable.

OCSJ Workshops and Programs:

We offer a variety of quality social justice workshops and programs for groups, schools, businesses, churches,college groups, community groups, who want to see change in their communities. Our workshops and presentations are of good quality and our fees are very reasonable.
We also offer half-day and full day conference/in-service day packages.

OCSJ Chat-Paks Program
The Center now offers a unique way for you to host a dialogue or presentation about social justice issues...right in the comfort of your own home.
The program is simple...you invite at least 10 of your friends, co-workers, family, any who is interested in social justice to your home. You can even serve refreshments if you like.
Some Chat-Paks feature a video clip or showing, handouts, and inter-active activities all related to social justice in general or you can select from a specific topics such as:
"Knowing Our Enemies.. A Look at Right-wing Organizations"
(discussion and handouts)
"The Shadow of Hate" (video showing and discussion)
"10 Ways to Fight Hate" (inter-active discussion)
"Scout's Honor" (video showing and discussion)
Chat-Paks programs are free of charge, however donations are welcomed and appreciated to help offset expenses.
For more information, or to schedule a Chat-Pak, please call/e-mail us for an appointment. We'll get together and discuss what you are looking for and help you plan and implement a good, educational program.

Order our social justice resource materials
You can now order the Center's resource materials for a very low cost. We offer brochures, booklets, books and more.
We offer literature on social justice issues ranging from tolerance to racism to homophobia.

We need a space for the Center!
We are currently looking for a place to house the Center and also space for meetings and events (preferably at the same location). If your church, organization, group, etc has an extra office or space that you would like to donate for the Center's use, please call Perry Slone, Center Director at 614-214-4175.
