H273 HENRY VII Groat (1495-98) S2198A VF25, nice bold portrait and legends,
clipped around the bottom into the middle of the lettering, as is common
with these $175
H240 PHILIP & MARY Penny (1554-1558) S2510a VG8 A good (and scarce) early
electrotype COPY. Appears to be a VF+ coin with weakly struck centers,
because the legends are mostly very bold,.including the PXM. $35
H249 ELIZABETH I Shilling (1591-1595) S2577 VF35 a nice original gray with lots
of portrait detail and two odd features: (1) it is slightly off round with extra
metal outside the outer border from 7-12 o'clock; (2) the portrait has evidence
of being slightly double struck as indicated by a second nose and forehead
just left of the main portrait! An interesting example of this very desirable
type! $550
H283 JAMES I Shilling (1603-1604) S2645 G4 $60
H247 JAMES I Shilling (1603-1605) S2646 G6 likely a ground dug coin $40
H264 JAMES I Shilling (1604-1605) S2654 VF20 with much underlying luster $350
H275 JAMES I Shilling (1605-1606) S2654 VF30, cleaned and with rough obverse
surfaces. Bold details! $95
H276 JAMES I Shilling (1614-1615). S2654 VF30, clipping and light corrosion evident,
especially on the obverse. Still an above average portrait for these! $125
H282 JAMES I Shilling (1623-1624) S2668 VF30, a good original toned coin $550
