Street Gasser 1940 Ford Pick-up
1 year/@10K since scratch built from a cab. All steel body. Roof chopped 3, doors shaved and suicided, one-piece/removable flip nose. 1930 Model A bed w/32 fenders. The whole truck is in light grey primer now. 2X4 box tube frame w/class 3 receiver hidden in the rear tie bar. 102 W.B. Drive shaft loop. All new floor, trans. Tunnel (fits auto too), and set back firewall. 1957 Chevy rear end w/3:70 gears, pro-built big drive shaft, B/W super T-10 4 spd. W/hurst shifter. Chevy 350 .040 over, mild cam, custom made carb. Scoop, home-made fenderwell headers, Accel electronic ignition, Griffin radiator. @15K since overhaul. 1937 Ford straight axle front end w/11GM disc brakes. Jeep CJ leaf springs font/rear. New fuel tank, Painless wiring kit, Moon tach and gauges in finished/painted dash. Summit racing bucket seats w/tracks. AM/FM cassette. Fronts 6.00X15 on 6 chrome slotted wheels and rears are L-50-15 on 10 chrome slots. Many many new parts in the build of this truck. This truck is a unique and reliable driver, that looks like it could have been built in 1962- Lots of people think its a Willys. thanks chuck has decited to keep his gasser.
