Blown Alcohol Austin
I have been searching the web for additional information about Gasser events and have found this web page to be very informative.
I noticed that you had a single picture of our Blown Alcohol Austin from the Thompson event. We're still in black primer and has been for 10 years, it grows on ya, you know. The two guys that went with me experienced their first ever Gasser Reunion and we all had a blast. We told the track officials several times how nice it was and how friendly they were. We had towed from Mt Vernon, IN (Evansville area) and could not stay for Sunday but we did qualify for 11th spot in the Quick 16 on Saturday. Please pass on to everyone that the event was awesome and we appreciated it.
We went on to Indy the following weekend and ran the C/Gas class to get into 3rd place for Sundays finals with a 9.83 @ 138 mph. I took the big red eye in the first round though.
To make a very long story short. I am helping the two guys that have been helping me build an Austin for them. They are hooked now. We located the two new Austin bodies while we were at Thompson so we made another trip up to pick them up.
We would like to have more information about the gassers circuit that you have described on your web page. What are the restrictions? We will be registering on your web page as Gassers. And, we are very interested in gassers gatherings.
