Me & My Obsession
Hello again. It is early April and the 2007 trout season is once again upon us. I, for one, couldn't be happier to see 2006 in my rear view mirror. The spring flood of 2006 left me with a year-long task of remodeling my home which left very little time for much of anything else. As a result, the rod building section of this site has been set aside as most of my equipment and supplies were destroyed by the high waters. I have yet to decide if I will rebuild the shop. Anyway, I will consider this past year as one of the "character building experiences" we all encounter along the way.
This is now year #6 with a website that was nothing more than an experiment with the AOL webspace. It has given me the opportunity to meet some interesting people as well as stay connected with the ever changing conditions of our area waters. The intent is to offer accurate reports of stream conditions to help you make the most of your time on the water.
For those of you who are new to the area, my name is Steve Parisi and this is my story of an obsession with just about everything fishing, mainly fly fishing. Although, I certainly enjoy my ultra light spinning rod with 4 lb. test and a small box of spinners as much as an early evening spinner fall. It's all about enjoying the great outdoors. Most of what you see here are the experiences of myself along with Seth Bruce and Jay Hover...long time fishing buds! I
Browse around for a while and see if anything catches your eye. I offer flies, custom rods, custom spinnerbaits, great photos from fellow anglers, and all kinds of info and resources. Anyway, thanks again and good luck on the water.
Regards, Steve

THE FISHING BUDS -
SETH, JAY AND MYSELF ON OUR WAY TO ONE OF OUR FAVORITE SPOTS ON THE WILLOWEMOC. THIS WAS THE FALL OF 2005 AND LOW WATER CONDITIONS MADE FOR SOME TOUGH FISHING. THIS WAS A GOOD OPPORTUNITY TO FISH SOME WATER A LITTLE FARTHER FROM CAMP. THE EAST BRANCH PROVIDED SOME GOOD AFTERNOON FISHING... AND EVENING CONVERSATION.
