PACK EVENTS FALL 2007

Jan. 26 Pinewood Derby at the Niles Scope Center.

Those that wish to help set-up the track are asked to be there at 10:00 a.m. Check-in for all Scouts of Niles Cub Scout Pack 135 wishing to race is at 11:45 a.m. The Pinewood Derby is sponsored by: Parents Club of Troop 31, Inc. "Scouts, start your engines!" The race will begin at 12:00 (noon). Those that need rules for the Niles Cub Scout Pack 135 Pinewood Derby race can find them on the Pack 135 website, by placing Niles Cub Scout Pack 135 into the search engine. The top three racers will win a trophy for their Rank Bracket and then move-on to the Grand Championship race. That Championship heat will begin after all bracket racing has concluded. We will be collecting money for rechartering of all Cub Scouts which is $11.00 and also money for the Blue and Gold Banquet. Those Scouts wishing to transfer into Niles Cub Scout Pack 135 may attend the race and speak with one of the Race Officials, or contact Melissa Martin at 330-373-0031.

This is an OUTDOOR EVENT, please dress accordingly!

Feb. 16 Blue and Gold Banquet at the Niles Scope Center 5 p.m.

The theme for this years banquet is "Nascar." All the tables will be decorated in the Nascar theme. This year we will be having a Pot Luck Banquet. We ask that all families bring a dish to share with the attendee's. Please bring the serving utensil needed for your dish. All families should remember to bring their own plates, eating utensils, cups and drink if their Den is not supplying those said items. The cost for the Banquet: Scouts are FREE, children 10 and under $3.00 and over the age of 10 including adults are $5.00. Pack 135 will be supplying hotdog's/buns and condiments at the banquet. They will have a Father/Son Cake bake at the event. Categories are as followed: Best "Nascar" Theme, Best Scouting Theme, Biggest, Tallest, Most Colorful, Yummiest.
