A Little Bit About Me
Well, there's not much to tell about lil' old me. I'm 21 years old and a mother of two beautiful children. My son is 5 years old and my daughter is 9 months. They are my everything. My family and I live in Hawaii on the island of Oahu. It's not much out here! Everyone says it's a paradise, but it's really too small and too expensive out here! I hope to move out to the mainland sometime in this century! Any ways, I live with my bf and our son in our own two bedroom house! We've been together for almost 9 years, we've got our ups and downs, but we're still going strong! He is the love of my life and always will be!
My very first Strawberry Shortcake toy was the Apricot Rag doll. I still have her till today, but I'm missing her bunny Hopsalot.
I'm the eldest of two. My younger brother is a lil punk, but I love him. My parents are the two most amazing people I know. They do so much for my son and I. I don't know where I'd be today if it weren't for them. I love you Mom and Dad!
Any ways, I was working as a pool side waitress at the local Marriott hotel. I like it, it's different. I met a lot of people, including celebrities. So far I've met Jay Mohr (Jerry Mcguire) and Jody Foster (Silence of the Lamb). Not to mention the whole lot of Pro-Bowl football players that come down annually! Now, I'm a stay at home mom taking care of my baby girl until she's a bit older. I don't regret leaving work as I'm around for all those special moments.
I've graduated from highschool in 2001 but have yet to go to College! I'm definitely going, I just have to get my son all set up with school first. It would create a lot more time for me to make it to school during the day. When I do go back, I don't really know what to major in. I'm planning on just taking my liberals for now! I have a really hard time trying to decide the right career to choose. I'm open to suggestions! I honestly had my heart set on acting. I've loved it ever since I was little and even took drama and theater classes in school! I've done workshops, Conventions in L.A. and Hawaii, extra work for NBC, modeling and a lot of classes. It's really where my heart is, but after meeting with a few interested agents in L.A., I found out that I had to move out there in order to get them to represent me. I was bummed! I'm all up for moving, but my bf isn't. He loves it here. Maybe some day I'll get lucky in that area of life! But for now, it's back to reality!

Onto Strawberry Shortcake! As you already know, I love her. And from the pictures you see, she's been in my life since birth! I never really had many of her toys when I was growing up. So when I started collecting, a lot of what I got came from thrift shops, swap meets and Ebay ofcourse. It was when I started high school that I became interested in collecting. When I first met my bf's family, I discovered his aunt and grandma's love for vintage items. Mostly toys! When I seen his grandma's collection, I flipped out. The colors and the smells just brought back so many memories! She gave and sold me a lot! However, I didn't stick with it too long. I was a teen and going through many different phases. It wasn't until the beginning of 2005 that I started collecting again. Before, I never really knew what was what. But after seeing the berrykin dolls on ebay, I just fell in love with them and started researching more about Strawberry Shortcake. When my bf's grandma gave me her last four Berrykin dolls, I was instantly hooked. I had to have more. I've been collecting ever since. It's an expensive hobby, especially since I've only been interested in the rare things so far. But I feel it's worth it and absolutely love it!
Here I am blowing out the candles on my Strawberry Shortcake cake at my 2-year old birthday party! This is the cake I remember falling into while trying to blow out the candles!
There's not much more to tell about me. I do have other interests and hobbies other than Strawberry Shortcake. I love harry potter (thanks to my bf). The books and the movies are so amazing. I can't wait for the 6th book and the 4th movie to come out. I was a huge fan of the O.C. I absolutely loved that show, I seriously couldn't get enough of it. I started watching in the middle of season 1. So when I bought the DVD's, I watched The O.C. three days straight until I was all caught up. It's an AWESOME show! Now that it's over, I'm a DIE HARD fan of Grey's Anatomy. I live for Mcdreamy, LOL! There is also Heroes, Ghost Whisperer, Desperate Housewives and Nip Tuck. A show for every day of the week.
I also love going to the beach, BBQs, shopping, going to the movies and buying DVD's (you should see our collection), and just haning out with my friends and family. I also love video games, when I have the time to play them. I only like adventure and mario games though!
Since I'm always, I have a lot of time with my kids during the week. I'm glad because we grow closer every day. I wouldn't trade that for anything! Every day I get to see the smart, talented and funny boy and girl that God blessed me with. It's really an amazing experience!
So that's me in a nutshell. Not very interesting, but at least you have an idea of what I'm like! I really hope you enjoy my website as much as I do!
