Pictured are my Berrykin Dolls! These are my absolute favorite dolls! The berrykins were released in 1984 and are the rarest and most expensive dolls of the enitre Strawberry Shortcake line. There are six dolls in the set, all with long hair and a special Berrykin Critter. The Berrykin Princess is also a part of this series of dolls. She is supposed to be the one to watch over all the Berrykin Critters. Banana Twirl is the rarest doll in this set and can cost you anywhere from $300-$400 OUT OF THE BOX! In the box, she can go as high as $600! The other dolls are also pretty expensive. Out of they box they can go from $150-$350. Mint in the box the dolls can go from $300-$500. The Berrykin Princess is also pretty costly. She can go anywhere from $50-$150! I'm still missing her accessories. Let me know if you have em'. I'm always looking!
I was lucky enough to have been given four of the six dolls, including the Berrykin Princess, by my bf's grandma. I was left missing two, Peach Blush and Orange Blossom. I only just completed Peach Blush (she was missing her critter), so now I only need Orange Blossom and my Berrykins are complete! If you have one complete with critter, out of the box and in EXCELLENT condition, please let me know!
****SCRATCH THAT!!! I am proud to say that I have finally completed my Berrykin line! Thanks to Leni from Australia, I was able to pick up the last doll I needed. Ms. Orange Blossom and Critter, for a reasonable $150 as I recall. I was so desperate to complete my line that I probably would have paid more. I'm just glad to be able to show you my COMPLETE set!
