Pacific Missions Tom Tune Taking the gospel and restoring the sight to the people on the outer islands of the Pacific Isaiah 11:11 and 42:12

While speaking in Texas, I was able to spend two nights with Gene Lynn. He had also spent time with me in Saigon. Gene is now doing a project that is so needed in the church. He has a group that has put together a DVD on singing, acappella singing. This has some of our well known preachers speaking on the subject. Gene has worked hard on this.

I was so worried in Saigon about being able to teach the kids and others we were working with about the great love of God. It was almost two years before we were able to obtain Bibles. It was done through the singing (teaching one another with hymns and spiritual songs), as the Bible says. Every one that has visited has seen the love of God radiating from these kids and it has been mostly the singing that has done this. I am sending a picture of the singing, and only wish it had sound.

Also there was a fine lady in Dallas that gave six thousand dollars toward the work among the kids. How wonderful. I hope some day she will visit Saigon.

I plan to return in May to Saigon. If you can give a little extra, there are things I would like to take with me. I plan to take another computer for one thing, plus other things for the kids.
