ABOUT BFC

The Barrington Fire Company was incorporated in 1907. Its full station protects the boro of Barrington, however the trucks first due ranges throught a number of surrounding communities. The station is fully volunteer,with the exception of weekdays between 7a-4p. During these hours the Dept. employs 1 firefighter to complete tasks needed on a daily basis. The company works from a boro budget. We the firefighters do however offset some costs with fundraisers and raffles. We currently have fifty active firefighters on the roles. We also have an explorer program for children between ages 14-18. In making this page we hope to educate others on what we are all about. WTC Disaster/ Pentagon

As a volunteer fifefighter, and also an active duty US Marine Firefighter my deepest sympathy goes to the friends and families of those lost.
Please know we will do our part to remember all, and the nation will repay those who have done this to those whose only job is to help people.
