All of my doll dresses are hand crocheted.   Most are original designs, and some are designs belonging to others that I have altered.   I use a wide variety of yarn colors and textures to create my doll clothes.   They are unique enough for collectors and sturdy enough for small fingers to take on and off over and over again.   I prefer snaps to velcro and never use glue, staples, or pins.   These dresses are all machine washable in a gentle cycle but should not be machine dried.
