RADIOS FOR SALE

Late 1940's Admiral Model 1704M---$125

The stained solid pine cabinet is in fine original condition. The cabinet shows slightly below normal wear and tear with some scratches on the front, sides and top. The chassis is clean and has been reconditioned to allow local AM station pick-up but with an external antenna the performance is significantly improved.

Early 1930's Philco Model 60---$350

The Cathedral style table top radio was introduced in the early 1930's. This is one of Philco's finest. The cabinet is totally original finish with the standard, " finish worn at the tuning dial" and slight cracking of the lacquer finish. The grillcloth, and knobs are original. The chassis is clean and has been re-capped to provide that "Golden Sound" on AM and SW bands.

SOLD!!

Philco Model 38-15---$200

This little radio is in near mint condition. The cabinet is stunningly beautiful with veneered accents on the top and bottom and I cannot find a scratch on the cabinet. The brass plated escutcheon shows slight wear at the top. The chassis is extremely clean and has been tuned-up to provide outstanding performance on AM and SW.

SOLD!!

Philco Model 40-130---$225

I think the design of this radio is unique with the curved top which shows evidence that Philco was trying to phase back the Cathedral design which was extremely popular. The cabinet on this radio is in extremely fine original condition. The electronics have been tuned-up with some new capacitors to provide that "golden sound".

Philco Model 46-431---$275

This is truely our finest tabletop. The inlaid veneer cabinet is in "mint" original condition with all original knobs and grillcloth. The chassis needed only a few capacitors to provide for peak performance. There is the most unique, looped metal antenna attached to the cabinet which explains the outstanding reception on AM/SW.
