Straight talk from Buddy....

Buddy was bought at auction November 2000. He was so sad looking and so skinny, I didn't even have a trailer with me nor was I really looking to buy another horse, but he just had the "please take me home" look about him. He is such a quiet horse and is very easy to work with on the ground or under saddle. At first he was a bit tense about saddles but once he gained weight and had a six month lay up, he started under saddle just fine. Buddy will make a wonderful trail and pleasure horse as well as pasture ornament and companion.

This is Buddy attending his first show. He was a little tense at first but settled nicely. Even though he did not show, the event was a great success for Buddy's experience.Buddy is 18 years old (verified by a freeze brand, thank goodness he had that) and stands 16.2hh.

September 2005 Buddy found a new home and is quite happy. He is pasture & stall mate to a huge Tennessee Walker named Kodak. Buddy & Kodak are like 2 huge peas in a gigantic pod! Buddy loves his new home. He has a stall he can go into at any time and is still very close to us. He can see his old pals, Riffraff, Flyboy and PI from his new pasture & stall. He seems to be happier than he's ever been! His new family is very big on treats and Buddy will surely remind them often to spread the "wealth"! This will be Buddy's permanent home and he'll never have want for anything, except more treats maybe! We love Buddy and are happy to still be able to see him. You're in our hearts forever big guy!
