About Rim Country Garrett Retirees Club

Rim Country Garrett Retirees is a retirees club made up of former AiResearch, Garrett, AlliedSignal, and Honeywell employees who live in Payson, Pine, Strawberry, or up on the rim. We meet the 3rd Thursday of the month at various venues in the Payson area. We welcome all visitors. We are primarily a social club and enjoy telling war stories about our days at the company. Come out and visit with your fellow retirees!

SEPTEMBER MEETING (September 18, 2008)

The September meeting will be held at the Moose Lodge in Star Valley, east of Payson, on Hwy 260. This month we will have to give Anita Wright our choices for our meal. There are 3 choices. (1) Meatloaf Wellington, with mushroom gravy, roasted vegetable, salad and dessert (2) Lemon Pepper Chicken, with rice, peas, & carrots, salad and dessert (3) Chef Salad. All choices include Tea or Coffee. The cost is $10.00. Send choices and checks to Anita by Monday, September 15. Mail to: Anita Wright, 601 N. Boulder Ridge Rd, Payson, AZ 85541 (928) 468-2158. Remember social hour 11:00 - 12:00. Lunch served at 12:00 noon. We really look forward to seeing old friends and fellow retirees. We look forward to seeing you there.

Membership

The Rim Country Garrett Retirees Club would like to invite fellow retirees, in Rim Country, to consider joining our group. This includes all Honeywell retirees. We currently are 104 strong and have a great time at our monthly luncheons.
We are very informal and the club affords an opportunity to visit with old friends from the company. Our dues are quite reasonable. The cost is $16.00 per year for a couple or $8.00 for an individual. We encourage both the husband and wife to become members. If both are members, we can acknowledge both birthdays and retirement dates if applicable. Yes, we celebrate both events.We also provide a membership directory that includes addresses, phone numbers, and e-mail address if applicable. To be a member we need the following information: Names, Address, Phone Number, E-mail address, if you have one, Birthday (Month & Day) Retirement Date (Month & Year). WE HAVE A NEW MEMBERSHIP CLASSIFICATION (ASSOCIATE)

We have created a new membership classification called "Associate Member". This would allow non-Garrett individuals an opportunity to join our club.This membership will allow our club to grow and allow member's friends to join the club. These members will have full status in our club and can participate in all activities. Our club's main focus is socializing and contributing to the various charities in our Rim Country communities.

Payson Humane Society
Payson Supply Line (send boxes to our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan)
