"LACEY" is one of Piccadilly's kids from her 2003 litter. Her whelping box name was Pinky because she wore the pink ric-rac. But make no mistake about it, this is no dainty little lady! She is a tom-boy through and through, hence her being named after the Stevie Nicks' song Leather and Lace.
LACEY is by far one of the smartest dogs I've had the pleasure of owning. She thinks she knows best (and often does). We joke that she has opposable thumbs. Behind all this brains and braun, she hides a very sweet dog that just melts in your hands when you pet or touch her.
LACEY is a retrieving fool and although never force fetched, always returns to hand. She is a quick and easy learner, always willing to please (most days). She is athletic and agile and amazes us daily with her shenanigans.
Lacey shares homes with my dear friends Linda and Bill and their 3 dogs. She adapts seamlessly between their home and mine. Here are some pics of Lacey documenting her adventures . . .
