Ya Mon! No worries!
Our Western Caribbean Cruise was all that we expected and more! Our route was a big loop around Cuba to visit the West Indian Islands.
Besides all the great food and entertainment on the cruise ship, we had memorable shore visits to the islands of Cancun, Grand Cayman and Jamaica. Sparkling like floating jewels in the beautiful azure waters of the Caribbean, visiting each was like finding rare gemstone.
Cancun - Home of the ancient Mayan culture. We visited the ruins of Tulum where the structures demonstrate the astronomical knowledge the Mayans possessed.
Grand Cayman - Banking capital (no taxes)! Also home to some of the best SCUBA and Snorkel diving in the world. No visit here is complete without a trip to Stingray City where huge Rays are so tame they eat from your hand as you snorkel in crystal clear waters at the mouth of the Bay.
Jamaica - We took a guided mountain bike trip from the lush interior to the ocean at Chukka Cove Park. In addition to seeing the interior of this beautiful tropical island, we met local people and learned some of the history of Jamaica.
Ya Mon, it's a party!
Next week -- we are off to the Florida Keys!
