My biography used to be longer, but then a few years after I wrote it I realized that I shouldn't have put up as much as I did. So I condensed it.
I was born in Apple Valley, California, a small town on the way to Las Vegas (on I-15). I lived in Victorville, California for the next seven years. While I do not remember much about this time, I do know about some events that happened along the way. I went to preschool, kindergarten, and first grade at Hesperia Christian School. I went to High Desert Church during my time there. My dad was a fish pathologist working for the California Department of Fish and Game (the web site has no info) as a fish pathologist and my mom worked for the Victor Valley College library. In 1997 my family moved to the North County region because my dad got a transfer. That summer (which was a long summer... I had from mid-May to August off) I asked Jesus into my life. I began my years at my current school in second grade. I also began at church in the Kids' Praise ministry. My second grade year was a little rough but then I entered third grade. The summer before third grade I went to Arizona and New Mexico with my family. We stayed in Flagstaff and Santa Fe, Sedona, and Bandelier National Monument. During third and fourth grade I really grew as a person and became a little more outgoing I guess. I also became an avid reader (I don't read as much as I did then but I have the homework thing...) I would have to say that I really enjoyed 3rd and 4th grade. During my fourth grade year I went on the Sacramento/ Gold Country/ San Francisco trip with my school. Later that summer I went to Oregon with my family and we toured Northern Oregon. Then I entered 5th grade. During that year my dad took a job in Washington. Then I entered 6th grade and graduated elementary school. Well then 7th grade... my mom got a job ... Otherwise...not a lot I can remember right now so I'll skip to 8th. It was during junior high that I really began to grow in my faith as a Christian. Even though I am not perfect and occasionally fail and go through hard times, God helps me through and forgives me. The summer before 8th grade I did many things such as spending a few days in Seattle, going to the aquarium, touring the Russian sub, and visiting Pike's Place Market (to be honest that place really freaked me out.) 8th grade... that was a good year. Before Christmas we as a class ordered pizza and surprised the teacher. A month later I went on our school's East Coast trip. I laid the wreath at the Tomb of the Unknowns in Arlington National Cemetery, Virginia. I also got to know some people over the year and stuff, it was pretty neat. Over the next summer I went on a vacation in Eastern Washington. More details can be found on the archives page. I added a lot of counties to my list as well. I took Hunter Safety Education over the summer too. My ninth and tenth grade years were interesting. I got elected homecoming prince and that was sort of interesting. However it was also a very challenging year for me, bringing me challenges I never have faced before. Yet I gained a lot of spiritual growth over this year and the summer following it. I also began working on Wikipedia and exit lists this year. The summer before my sophomore year I went on a missions trip to Maneadero, Baja California Norte, Mexico. I returned home September 3rd to North County. The first half of tenth grade was not great. Things were going wrong all over and I had no clue what was going wrong at all. However, God gave me friends who helped me through this time. The final bombshell hit during first semester finals week. However, it was after the next two weeks that I was finally able to recover. Slowly but surely, things have been improving. I have become more social and have begun fixing other areas of my life as well. I hope that this spiritual growth will continue throughout my life as well. My junior year I took three AP classes: AP Chemistry, AP U.S. History, and AP Language, as well as Spanish 4 and Pre-Calculus. This was definitely an academic challenge. However, I did well this year, academically, socially, and spiritually. The summer before my senior year I worked at a Christian camp, and that experience truly was amazing. I also went on a trip from Washington through Idaho and Montana to Yellowstone National Park. That was amazing as well. Well what I want to do is close this biography by saying that God has had a plan for my life. God has helped me through lots of stuff that I didn't understand at the time and has helped me grow as a Christian. I don't know what the future holds but I know that God is in control. Well that's my biography! |
