Then...
1976 - Pinehurst Field.   Richard Garner's biplane set up on his field box.  The field box was designed by the Fort Bragg R/C Club and made on post at the wood hobby shop for the members.  It was very large and bulky, but it would hold anything an R/C pilot would ever need at the field.  Check out the Kraft Radios!
1976 - Our first field located in Pinehurst.  The event picutured is an open house held with the help of friends from the Lumberton Club and Fort Bragg Club.

And Now...
The 4th of July picnic and fun-fly was a complete success and fun was had by all.  The weather was perfect for flying and everyone got plenty of stick time.  We also had some fun with a timed pattern/spot landing contest that was enjoyed by both the participants and spectators alike.
A big Thank You goes to Howard and Carol for preparing lunch for everyone as well as to all those who brought dishes and desserts.  The food was phenomenal!
Drew and Jack enjoying the shade.
Bart's Laser touching down.
Mick's Ultimate on final approach.  The airplane has been powered by glow fuel, gasoline and is now electric.
The flightline was quite crowded and it was fun to see all of the different airplanes flying throughout the day.
