Inspired by the 1912 carving on the William Dentzel Kiddy Kingdom Carousel, Cedar Point, Sandusky, Ohio, this Lion is the companion piece to the Dentzel carousel Tiger, "Tiger on the Prowl".
Completed in August, under the influence of the Leo Moon, this artwork, titled "And A Leo Will Lead" is dedicated to the strength of character and aplomb of the many venerable LEOS in my life.
