I was born in Iceland of an Icelandic mother and an American father, so that is why I love to paint both landscapes from my visits back to Iceland and from around my home in Maryland.....I'm also intrigued by Norse mythology, and of course those magical elves and trolls and witches that I grew up with.(they are everywhere in Iceland). I also paint my 'mindscapes', which can be most anything!
My husband and I live with a whole hassle of Icelandic Sheepdogs. (hassle is not a term used lightly here... but we love every one!) I raise this wonderful breed as well and if you would like to talk to me either about my paintings or about these dogs, email me at:
