She is the only female beast in the group that has a jinn heart, like Wan and Bud, which is connected to her jinn, Sea Lord. When ever she gets wet, she changes into a merimaid. Somehow, she already knows Wan when they (to the audience) meet the first time in the bubble-like prison. Mei Meh has some affection towards Wan which becomes apparent when she tells him while dying (actually she thinks that she's dying, but she just has a fever caused by loosing her wisdom teeth, very common for all mermaids). It is kinda hard to tell if Wan returns thesame feelings or not because one minute he would tease/hit her, then the next he becomes really concerned and almost caring. Her mother acts like a teenager in how she first greets the group (i thought that she was Mei Meh's older sister). Something I think that is funny is when Wan hits Mei Meh on the head and she cries out pearls ^ - ^
