The Folded Iris offers unique, decadent and absolutely beautiful items crafted from the best hand-made papers. All items are custom made by the artist to fit any taste, decor style or as a gift.
Below are some photos of my current product. These are lovely flowers created from modifications of traditional Japanese origami folding. They stand approx. 12-15 inches tall on a natural wood stem. The blooms are 2-3 inches in diameter. These gorgeous flowers are impressing and sophisticated, and are created from a wide palette of papers and designs. They can be crafted in a natural style, echoing the soft colors found in nature, to exotic and stylized creations that evoke a world of fantasy. I use a variety of papers including papers with ornate Japanese prints to soft white papers with actual flower petals embedded in. Whether your taste runs to Asian decor, country kitchen, or contemporary-modern, The Folded Iris can compliment your room or create the perfect gift. These Items offer the lasting durability of silk flowers, but are unparalleled in their uniqueness.

Created from a firm vinyl mesh, these dragonflies and butterflies come in a variety of colors and are gorgeous addition to an assortment of flowers. They will be available on individual wires, or as a hanging mobile. Great for kids! Watch for the photos!

Also available: simple wood holder, soon to be pictured. A gentle and simple wood strip with holes drilled to hold each stem. This lovely holder adds to the zen quality of these flowers, and makes them stand beautifully on a ledge or table. The wood can be stained natural or whitewashed with a worn effect.
