Welcome to Setzke's DandeLions!

We are a small rabbitry located off the shore of Lake Michigan in the town of Grafton. We are just 20 minutes north of Milwaukee. We keep a small rabbitry between 15-20 holes. This allows us to give equal amounts of attention to our rabbits in a clean and healthy environment.
We specialize in raising Lionhead rabbits in the COD colors of TORT, BLUE, BLACK, BLUE TORT, and limited CHESTNUT, OPAL, SABLE POINT, SIAMESE SABLE, SMOKE PEARL, and REW. We also like to breed BROKENS (AOV). Although we use AOV's in our program we do NOT support showing them. We have show and breeding stock, with occasional pet quality available at reasonable prices. Our goal is to produce quality rabbits with correct type that meet the 2007 GIBBONS STANDARD. We are also dedicated to breeding 2XM gene Lionheads that carry a full mane into their adulthood. All of our stock is purebred unless otherwise noted.
Our breeding stock is quality stock purchased from breeders with outstanding reputations. Please ask us about Lionhead breeders we highly recommend and respect. We do not get to show our rabbits as much as we would like due to our busy schedule, but our rabbits have proven themselves to be good competition, not just in Wisconsin, but nationally. In the '06/'07 show season we raised 16 BOB (Best of Breed) winners. Thanks to all who have shown our wonderful rabbits. And CONGRATULATIONS on your wins! This is an exciting new breed with alot to learn. We highly recommend having alot of patience when working with this "breed in development." There is a long process for this rabbit to actually becoming a breed. We are willing to help anyone who is interested in learning more about Lionheads. If you have a question we cannot answer, we will direct you to someone who can.
