Wildlife Conservation Education
We offer two different nature programs for children. The first, entitled Meet My New Snake Friends, is an exciting, educational introduction to the fascinating world of snakes. Presented for the first time four years ago, this program features up close and personal experiences with beautiful, tame, live snakes. The kids love it and, without a doubt, it is their favorite program.
Our other presentation, Time For Turtles, is always popular with children and teachers. It is a fun, extremely interesting look into the amazing world of turtles and an introduction to the importance of wildlife conservation. Everyone gets to see these gentle creatures up close and learn why turtles are now in need of help the world over.
Both programs are 45 minutes in length, followed by a question and answer period. Both are tailored to the ages and attention spans of the audiences and presented within a fun, caring atmosphere that encourages children to become involved and learn. Our love for children and wildlife is obvious and the kids respond with enthusiasm. In the end, the children have a wonderful time while learning to appreciate and respect the amazing creatures that share their planet.
