Special Feature: Giant Telecaster!
This 13 foot tall guitar is built to 4x the original Telecaster specifications and is exactly like the one than many great guitarist, including James Burton, started their musical careers on! Mr. Burton has inspired scores of guitar players throughout his 50 years in the music business and the Giant Tele appeared at the James Burton International Guitar Festival 8/19-21/05.
When the Rolling Stones are touring I try to appear outside of a few of their shows. I outfit the "Telecasterus Colossus" to be a replica of the guitar Rolling Stone's guitarist Keith Richards (L) plays. Notable similarities include humbucker pick-up and Giant Cigarette Butt in headstock!
