"Here Comes Stutech!"
I figured for my first corner of this new season, I would take a look at the teams and give you my predictions for the upsoming season.
First I think the Memphis Mafia will win the crown this year. Although they did start out 0-3, call me crazy, but I just got this hunch that they have a lot more "staying power". This will bode well for all the fantasy WIFR rotisserie keeper leagues.
Next will be the North American Tool Corp. I feel that the Stuke and Utech will have a lot of firepower on that team. Look out Mafia! Here comes Stutech!
Last has to be the Gin and Juice squad. As good as El Canon was last year, he can't run a team all by himself. That will hurt. The only way they will have a shot at winning any games at all is to acquire the newest WIFRball member Parker Vision by the July trading deadline. I heard he just CAN'T lose!
As far as my postseason picks go: I got the Mafia beating the Photog Tool Corporation by at least three games to one.
Swami Koch says: there will be a lot less games this year. Swami Brad also asks: Will the Commish take the Scoreboard with him if his team dwindles? It would look wicked awesome in his room!
