The Line Up
(In no particular Order)

Michele Lundeen
Michele Lundeen, dubbed "The Queen of Steam" for her stirring vocals and electrifying stage presence, does indeed command attention. Often described as "Janis Joplin meets Bonnie Raitt" (or think Lydia Pense, Bonnie Bramlett), Michele is a powerful, soulful vocalist with an incomparable style all her own, effortlessly blending classic roadhouse blues, jump swing, Memphis groove, sultry jazz and funky soul into a satisfying musical stew. An established, popular and respected veteran of the club, concert and festival circuit in both Northern Nevada and Southern California, Michele has shared stages with dozens of nationally known blues and roots artists from John Lee Hooker to Elvin Bishop and Savoy Brown to Queen Ida while gaining a reputation as a talented headliner in her own right.
Valerie June
Valerie June, a blues artist, is originally from what she calls "nowhere." A small town in Tennessee between Jackson and Humboldt is where she was raised but she currently lives in Memphis. What makes her story so interesting is her enthusiasm for her art. She has only been playing for a year, but was involved for about five years with another band. After watching her ex-husband play guitar, she picked up one, and found that she had memorized the chords, and needed no formal training to play. This year was her first time to play at the blues festival and also her first time witnessing the thousands that crowd Helena-West Helena.
Rose and Charlie Lucas
Rose Lucas is well considered the Grandmother of the regions Blues scene. She has performed a lifetime of blues and jazz with her husband Charlie Lucas. Bio coming soon!
The Dynamic Thermo-tones Featuring Niki Sharp

Michele and the Midnight Blues
Michele & The Midnight Blues Band plays with a whole lot of energy. Take Memphis blues, a little Chicago and add a touch of Peidmont & Texas blues. Madison says we do our own "Creole smooth blues" too. They can be heard on many blues radio stations throughout the U.S., Europe, India and soon Argentina. In a few months they went from a 'local band' to one heard all over the world in part thanks to the 2006 International Blues Challenge and thanks to their 1st commercial CD release "Eyes Set To Midnight". They have been called a vastly talented crew who are the "perfect compliment to their singer. Recently dubbed “Wildly popular in South Eastern, NC”. They live up to one of their motto's "Blues is more than cry in your beer music" and it is how they do their part to help Keep the Blues Alive.
Big Red and the Sould Benders
Is a great little blues band from Mountain Home Arkansas. Having played the Arkansas Blues and Heritage Festival (formerly the King Biscuit)and winning the Arkansas Blues and Heritage Award is the up and comming blues to see!! With a sultry, low down ,reach inside you voice Big Red fronts this band with a style all her own.She has been called the next Janis Joplin, also told she sounds like Koko Taylor & Big Mama Thornton. Along with The Soulbenders consiting of Mike Taylor on bass guitar Jimmy Smith on on leads and rythum , Tony Weaver on harmonica, and Kale Riley on drums have successfully written many songs on their debut cd "The Devil Made Me Do It". "Live a Cinema 218 Texarkana" This cd is pure big Red and The Soul Benders at their best! Raw and down and dirty Blues the way Big Red likes it. Take a listen to some of BigRed's music ,You will not be dissapointed.
Shelley McGee and the Bad Deeds
It's all about the blues, baby!  Shelley Magee and The
Bad Deeds, are NOT COMING! Sadly, one of the band mates has a medical issue. We will miss having them and hope for a speedy recovery.

FILLING IN The Grit Pixies
When Jill Fromewick’s harmonica teacher, the renowned Joe Filisko, heard Eliza Lynn sing and play guitar, his words were: “You found someone who can sing like that, play like that, and who LIKES harmonica? You may never find that again. Let me repeat….” And so, Grit Pixies were born. Inspired by harmonica/ guitar duos of the present (Cephas and Wiggins) and of days past (Sonny Terry and Brownie McGhee), Jill and Eliza have a unique style, incorporating washboard, harmony vocals, original material, and infectious enthusiasm.
