June 26, 1943 - May 11, 1995

Marnell was not only my sister, she was my Mother, my best friend and the greatest sister anyone could have. She guided me not only in life, but continues to guide me after her passing. Thank God for that! I'd never have made it this far without her to show me the way. I owe her more than life itself and know in my heart  that she is with me always. She never did cease to amaze me by the things she was able to do for everyone she loved. Her spirit lives on in each one who had the privilege to know her. To know her is to love her! She is missed by all who knew her as her smile and her laughter would carry a room. They are surely blessed in heaven to have her present. I just wish she didn't have to leave this earth so soon.

I love you sis, today more than ever! Thank you for your guidance even to this day. I smell your perfume and know you are near. I'm glad to know I'm not alone and that you're always as close as a thought.
